Sua vitoriosa carreira de 20 anos como atleta profissional de voleibol inclui t\u00edtulos como: campe\u00e3o ol\u00edmpico em Atenas 2004; tri-campe\u00e3o da Liga Mundial de voleibol; heptacampe\u00e3o sul-americano; campe\u00e3o da Copa dos Campe\u00f5es 1997 (MVP, maior pontuador e melhor recep\u00e7\u00e3o); campe\u00e3o da Copa do Mundo 2003; campe\u00e3o mundial infanto-juvenil em 1991 (MVP), juvenil em 1992 e adulto em 2002, transformando-o no primeiro jogador na hist\u00f3ria do v\u00f4lei mundial a ser campe\u00e3o mundial em tr\u00eas categorias. Foi agraciado com o pr\u00eamio Brasil Ol\u00edmpico do COB em 2001 e em 2002, quando recebeu tamb\u00e9m o pr\u00eamio de atleta brasileiro deste ano.
